Our story began in 2008, when Dalene Walters opened her first Bobs & Beehives salon at the K90 Centre in Boksburg. Since then, the salon has evolved through four different locations, with each move bringing us closer to creating the salon experience we always envisioned.
Today, Bobs & Beehives has found its signature home — a beautiful salon set within a leafy, tranquil garden environment in Benoni.
From the moment you arrive, we want you to feel that you're somewhere different. A place to slow down, relax and enjoy being looked after. For us, a salon visit should be about far more than simply having your hair done.
Experience Behind the Chair
At the heart of Bobs & Beehives is Dalene Walters, an experienced hairstylist, salon owner and professional hair educator with more than two decades in the industry.
Dalene's career has taken her far beyond the salon floor. She has trained and educated hairstylists across South Africa and internationally, with advanced professional training in Paris, Italy, Malta and Australia.
Her passion for advanced colour placement, cutting techniques and client experience continues to influence everything we do at Bobs & Beehives.
The Bobs & Beehives Team
Behind the salon is a dedicated team of three professional hairstylists and four operators, supported by the management and administration that keeps the salon running smoothly every day.
We believe beautiful hair comes from combining technical skill with genuine care. Every member of our team shares the same goal: to make our clients feel comfortable, valued and completely looked after.
